Literature Review is essential to provide theoretical background to your research. To achieve this objective, the enlisted steps would be significant and thus may be adopted:

Step 1: After the books and journals are identified as useful, the first step towards development of literature review section begins with critical reading to bring together the associated themes.

Step 2: Use a separate sheet of paper for each theme your study is based on and start slotting the so far found materials into the framework.

Step 3: Continue searching for information and logically slotting the same under the relevant themes. The need to add new theme may arise through the process.

Step 4: As your themes are ready, convert them into subheadings that are precise and descriptive of the theme in question. Ensure that the subheadings follow a logical headway.

Step 5: Now, under each subheading, record the findings, which you listed under that specific theme. While recording, give statements of reasons for and against an argument and identify the gaps and issues that exist.
